DAMIANA (Turnera diffusa)
AKA: Damiane, oreganillo, Mexican holly
Mars - Fire - Masculine
Powers: Lust, Love, Visions
Damiana has been hailed as an aphrodisiac since ancient times, particularly by the native peoples of Mexico. Other folk uses have included asthma, bronchitis, neurosis, and various sexual disorders. Used in lust infusions and spells. It is burned to produce visions.

AKA: Blowball, cankerwort, lion's tooth, priest's crown

It is a general stimulant to the system, but especially to the urinary organs, and is chiefly used in kidney and liver disorders. Warning: Contraindicated in blockage of the bile ducts, acute gallbaldder inflammation, and intestinal block. DONG QUAI (Angelica sinensis)
AKA: Chinese angelica, dang gui, tang kuei, tan kue
Powerful herb for the female reproductive system. It is a powerful uterine tonic and hormonal regulator. Used in premenstrual syndrome formulas as well as menopausal formulas.Warning: Not to be used during pregnancy.
DULSE (Rhodymenia palmatta)
AKA: Dillisk, Water Leaf,red algae

Powers: Lust, Harmony
Dulse is best known as a remarkably nutritious dietary supplement that provides most of the vitamins and minerals necessary for daily function. Warning: Therapeutic use is not recommended in hyperthyroidism. Added to beverages to induce lust. Sprinkled around the home to encourage harmony.

ECHINACEA (Echinacea purpurea)
AKA: Coneflower, Purple Coneflower
Powers: Strengthening Spells

Tea made from Elder Flowers, to be taken every morning before breakfast for some weeks, being considered an excellent blood purifier. For colic and diarrhoea, a tea made of the dried berries is said to be a good remedy.

AKA: Yellow Starwort,horse-elder, horseheal, scabwort

Employed by the ancients in certain diseases of women, in dropsy and in skin infections. Warning: Not to be used during pregnancy. Not to be used while nursing.
Carried for protection. Smoldered on charcoal aid in sharpening psychic powers.

An infusion applied to the eyelids on cotton pads induces clairvoyance--be persistent for results.

Said to be equal to quinine in preventing fevers; is comforting to the stomach and has been utilized for diabetes.Half-fill a small jar with the seeds and leave open in the house to attract money. Add a few seeds every couple of days- till the jar is full; then empty and start again. Return seeds to the ground.

FLAX (Linum usitatissimum)

Powers: Money, Protection, Beauty, Psychic, Healing

The crushed seeds or meal make a very useful poultice, either alone or with mustard. In ulceration and superficial or deep-seated inflammation a poultice allays irritation and pain. Sprinkle the altar with flax seeds while performing healing rituals or include it in healing mixtures.
